"CE" is the abbreviation of French "Conformit e Europ e ene" meaning "in conformity with European (standard)". "CE Marking", i.e., CE Marking, was formally proposed in the hava product directive 98/68/EEC signed in 1993, and the CE Marking became the uniform compulsory product certification mark in hava. In other words, no CE mark, no access to the hawa market. The CE mark on a product means that its manufacturer declares that the product meets the basic requirements of European health, safety, environmental protection and consumer protection laws (in practice, these laws are usually issued in the form of product directives). Products subject to CE marking may enter the hawar unified market legally and circulate freely within the hawar unified market. The European economic area is the European Union, the member states of the European free trade association (except Switzerland). Before the CE mark was introduced, the ec countries had different requirements on the import and sale of products, so it was easy for them to form trade barriers and hinder the process of economic integration. According to the European Community resolution (85/c136/01) of 7 May 1985 on the New Approach Directives, the CE symbol came into being.

Is CE mark mandatory?
According to the market access directive 93/68/EEC "CE mark" issued by hawa in 1993, products involving safety, health and environmental protection must comply with the corresponding hawa law (directive), so that they must wear the CE mark to accept market supervision and management.
About 70% of the products hawar has issued the corresponding directive, which is not allowed to be sold in the hawar market if the product does not wear the CE mark. The CE mark is a mandatory certification that the product complies with the applicable laws of hawa.

CE characteristics and benefits of CE implementation
"CE", as the mandatory safety qualification mark of hawa, is regarded as the "passport" for Chinese products to enter the hawa market. Each country has its own special inspection agency to inspect the products circulating in the market of hawar through various channels. Once the products are found not meeting the requirements of the hawar directive, the importer or manufacturer will be severely punished, and the liability of legal prosecution can be as high as tens of millions of euros.
Domestic enterprises seldom directly follow the CE test standard -- European harmonized standard or national standard for production, and the specific requirements of the standard are not clear. Therefore, in order to reduce the risk, the manufacturer usually asks a third-party certification agency to conduct tests to verify the conformity of the product and issue the certification documents. And the number of NOTIFIED BODY (namely, designated by the competent national recognized by hawa committee third parties - NOTIFIED BODY) the certificate issued by the most authoritative, its advantage is:
1. Ensure that the products produced meet the requirements of the European harmonized standards;
2. Gain the maximum trust from customers or importers;
3. Be able to maximize the trust of market supervision agencies to reduce the risk of being detected as not meeting safety and health requirements;
4. Effectively prevent the occurrence of various allegations, such as those made by consumer associations or similar protection groups and those made by peers out of competition considerations, and provide favorable evidence in the face of litigation.
